(Aug. 19, 2019 -Timonium, MD.) Even though temperatures climbed to 102 degrees, garden enthusiasts and neighborhood supporters enthusiastically participated in garden tours and demonstrations as part of the second annual Glorious Garden day sponsored by Gallagher Services, Blue Water Baltimore, Herring Run Nursery, Baltimore County Master Gardeners, St. Vincent’s Villa and Villa Maria.

Young and old toured the greenhouses and gardens, tagged and released Monarch butterflies and participated in seed planting/seed balls workshops and rain barrel construction demonstrations.

Many also left with bouquets of native cut flowers purchased from Herring Run Nursery and art created by Gallagher’s craftspeople and local artists.

Gallagher Services provides individuals with intellectual disabilities opportunities to engage in work and life opportunities so that they can live a full and purposeful life.
