The torrential rains have stopped. Thank goodness! Now we can enjoy our lush gardens including the courtyard at Our Daily Bread Employment Center. This garden is thriving thanks to Ashley Morgan, Operations Supervisor at ODBEC.

“Ashley Morgan is the reason our garden looks so terrific,” said John Soboleski of ODBEC.

Since 2013, Ashley Morgan has focused on revitalizing the outdoor courtyard by contributing plants, fertilizer and his gardening skills. Christopher Place Employment Academy participants regularly use the garden for a quiet place to gather, chat and enjoy a cook-out.

Another contributor to the garden is Eagle Scout James Scully Jr., who built picnic tables and benches for the garden in the fall of 2015 to achieve his Eagle Scout status.
