On any given night, 2,193 individuals either sleep on the street or find temporary shelter in Baltimore City. Every person counted in that statistic has a story associated with their journey, including Daudi Boma. The once world-traveler came to America with a plan for success and education.

Boma regularly gets lunch at Our Daily Bread Employment Center—often his only meal of the day. Though he has not yet accepted further services from Catholic Charities to move along his path toward something better, we hope he will soon, and we thank our friends in other organizations helping him.

Boma shared his unique story with WJZ-13, CBS Baltimore here. Watch for a glimpse of what life is like for a person experiencing homelessness, and what amazing individuals they so often are.
