Volunteer with My Sister’s Place Women’s Center
Without the efforts of volunteers and donors, My Sister’s Place Women’s Center would not be able to provide the services it does.
We are now able to offer both on-site and off-site volunteer opportunities!
ON-SITE OPPORTUNITIES:

Meal services
- In need of volunteers and volunteer groups for our meal services that run 3 times a day.
- Hours: Breakfast 7–9 a.m., Lunch 11 a.m–1 p.m., Dinner 4–6 p.m.
- Lead a workshop
- Facilitate a workshop based around one of the 8 realms of wellness: emotional, physical, occupational, social, spiritual, intellectual, environmental, and financial.
- Workshop volunteers will be screened beforehand and acceptance will be based on if their experience and the workshop content meet our center’s requirements for teaching.
OFF-SITE OPPORTUNITIES:
- Write a letter of encouragement to one of our clients
- Send a letter, a note, a positive quote or story, even a drawing to a new friend – no length requirement necessary
- All letters will be read before being distributed to clients
- Ten letters equal two service hours
- Mail letters to My Sister’s Place Women’s Center, ATTN: Letters of Encouragement, 17 W. Franklin St., Baltimore, MD 21201
- Make casseroles at home to support our meal services

Individuals, and groups, are welcome to become employment partners, host donation drives and share your time by leading community activities.
