Community Green Initiative at Gallagher Services’ greenhouse
hosts the holiday crafts & greens sale on Friday, Dec. 7 and Saturday, Dec. 9 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. All proceeds benefits Gallagher Services which provides engaging opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities. Holiday items include:

  • fresh holiday swags and greens
  • seed balls
  • snowy mason jars
  • holiday bows
  • client crafts
  • handmade soap
  • cinnamon stick votives
  • Holiday gift tags and notecards flower and milkweed seed packets!

Still time to help Adopt a Residents from Weinberg Housing and Resource Center for Christmas Eve party…the Center’s Adopt-a-Resident is an annual gift giving initiative for the 275 men and women that temporarily reside at the Center. 100 Man Party at Our Daily Bread Employment Center, Sat., Dec. 15
Christmas comes a little early to Our Daily Bread Employment Center, which collects winter clothing for 100 men identified in dire need of winter gear. The items are distributed on Saturday, Dec. 15 at its annual 100 Man luncheon party. Items needed include: flannel shirts, socks, and winter gear. Un-Deck the Halls at St. Vincent’s Villa – Sat., Dec. 29, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

 Assemble 100+ Christmas trees in St. Vincent’s Villa’s gymnasium. Help hang garland and ornaments on Christmas trees, arrange toy train sets and giant teddy bears in this Winter Wonderland for children temporarily residing at St. Vincent’s Villa. Decorating accompanied by music and light refreshments. Deck the halls of Sarah’s House in Anne Arundel! Sat., Dec. 1, 1 – 4 p.m.
If you live closer to Anne Arundel County, gather friends and family to help decorate Sarah’s House, Catholic Charities’ emergency and rapid rehousing program for individuals and families. The event offers volunteers the opportunity to tour the program, snack on light refreshments and share holiday cheer with others! Register by emailing SHChristmasTeam@cc-md.org.
