(Sept. 23, 2019) Joe Weinberg of Cordish Companies and Live! Casino and Hotel along with Anne Arundel County Executive Steuart Pittman announced the distribution of $18.8 million in grants to community groups throughout the county.
Catholic Charities’ emergency and supportive family shelter, Sarah’s House, was named as one of the grant recipients and will receive $500,000 from Maryland Live! Casino.
Preliminary plans for the funds include upgrading Sarah’s House the emergency shelter and playground and contributing to childcare and case management services.
