It’s a treat to shop at Maryland’s farm stands during the summer and lucky for our residents and staff at the Jenkins Senior Living Campus in Halethorpe the farmers market comes to them every Wednesday until the end of October.
It’s a weekly ritual that every Wednesday, residents, visitors, volunteers, and staff visit the outdoor pavilion to greet Debbie Hanson, farmer and owner of the Hanson Family farm in Carroll County, to pick their favorite ripe red tomatoes, sweet yellow corn, crisp green beans and onions fresh from her farm. The market is also open to the public and welcomes new participants to sell their fresh produce.
Come and shop at the farmers market every Wednesday from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. until October 25. The Jenkins Senior Living Community is located at 3320 Benson Avenue, Baltimore Maryland 21227.
