Joanna Miskelly Cox, a monthly volunteer at My Sister’s Place Women’s Center, swapped her volunteer apron for the Grand Marshal’s sash of orange, white, and green to lead bagpipers, Irish step dancers, wolfhounds, city leaders, firefighters, and police down St. Paul’s Street for the March 10th St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

For the past three years, Miskelly Cox has served as Chairwoman of the parade. The annual event brings joy to all participants and on-lookers and in 1974, the parade brought Miskelly Cox love when she met husband, David, at the festivities.
