During the week of September 9 – 15, Catholic Charities and Gallagher Services celebrate Direct Support Professional Week. Our Direct Support Professionals are the backbone of Gallagher Services. Their expertise and compassion play a critical role daily in the lives of the men and women we support. The assistance and interactions they provide help people living with intellectual disabilities to engage fully within their community and experience meaningful and productive lives.
We thank our Direct Support Professionals for their dedication and commitment to Gallagher Services’ mission in supporting people with disabilities to live the life of their choice.
We also congratulate Gallagher Services’ Stephanie Thornton-Johnson who will receive special recognition by the Maryland Department of Disabilities and Maryland Developmental Disabilities Administration for her work.
On Tuesday, September 17th at 1 p.m. Governor Boyd Rutherford will be present Thornton-Johnson with her Governor’s Citations in recognition of her commitment and excellent work at a ceremony in Annapolis at the Baltimore Delegation Room (Room 180) at the Lowe House Office Building.
