(December 2, 2018 – HUNT VALLEY, Md.) — For the sixth time, Catholic Charities has been named a Baltimore Sun Top Workplace.
Catholic Charities earned the 2018 distinction through participation in an impartial, scientific employee survey conducted by Energage. The survey rates workplaces on four major categories: organizational alignment, effective execution, genuine and meaningful connection with employees, and managing employees well.
“This is really a special honor, because it says so much about our culture,” said Catholic Charities Executive Director Bill McCarthy. “We are better at serving others when we work well together, and that’s what this distinction confirms.”
A Top Workplaces honor comes only when an organization meets strict standards for organizational health as determined by impartial, anonymous surveys conducted by Energage, a leading research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement. The surveys track and evaluate feedback on an organization’s direction, its work toward that direction, and its employees’ belief and participation in that direction.
