Creative Services Request

Important information:

  • We cannot begin any project until this form is completed and all requested materials are submitted: copy/text, potential photos, and art.
  • Please send an email to dlburns@cc-md.org to let us know you have posted a request.
  • After we receive your request, the Communications department will contact you to discuss your project, generally within 3 business days. If you do not hear from us, please contact Andy Wayne, awayne@cc-md.org.
  • In order to ensure a polished, professional product, the Communications department will edit your content, copy, photography, art, and design at its discretion and retains final approval for all materials.

Overview and timing

Please note that many projects require a 5 week lead time to allow for creation, revisions, and printing, if applicable. We try to accommodate rush projects but cannot guarantee completion. Please plan ahead, especially if you require assistance with project management/marketing, copywriting, and printing. Please be aware that we will strongly suggest that printed flyer handouts should be 2 sided.

Project Information

Please note that the new centennial logo will be used on all collateral. Flyers printed as handouts or mail will be designed using 2 sides in all cases. Flyers intended to be posted on the wall will be 1-sided.

Who is your target audience? Who are you trying to attract/reach? Age? Location? Need? Current or potential new clients, donors, volunteers, attendees, staff, the general public, etc.?
What are you trying to accomplish? What is the call to action? What are you trying to get the reader to do or know? How will this be used? Why is it needed?
What to you want it to look like? ie. Fun, serious, official, warm, edgy, youthful, plain, casual, elegant, ethnic...? Please be as descriptive as you can. If you have samples of designs you like, please attach them to the document.

Please note that all flyers will be 2-sided unless they are intended for wall posting or digital use only.
Provide anything you know about the size, folds, preferred colors (agency standard), number of pages, full color or one color black ink, special treatments, special stock.
Do you have any special needs? Does your audience need a larger font, non-English language, specific photos, ethnic/racial/cultural sensitivity, trauma sensitivity, etc? Add anything you think we need to know.
Please provide the copy or general outline of verbiage you wish to use in a text format (i.e. Word). If you have a .pub file, please convert it to a .pdf for us.
