Employee Comments on Catholic Charities Leadership Programs:
The program introduced me to new ways of thinking and took me out of my comfort zone. I also can’t stress enough how valuable it was to go through the program with the rest of the group and to build business and personal ties. I believe that those ties will allow this group to function more effectively in the future as we work on future projects.
One of my favorite parts of this program was having the opportunity to meet and learn with others from throughout the agency. In my role, I do not get to interact as much as I would like with my peers, so having the chance to talk with them and hear what is impacting them in their work was very helpful and made me feel more connected to the agency.
What Employees Like Most About Working at Catholic Charities:
The Supportive environment, especially among my coworkers. It is an environment that is encouraging which helped me get through some of the more challenging times. There is also a culture created that values self-care and the importance of having good work-life balance.
I enjoy being able to make a difference in each underprivileged and vulnerable individual’s life.
My colleagues, staff, and supervisors come from all backgrounds and are knowledgeable in many areas. I like the commitments and mission of Catholic Charities and how they impact my work with clients and staff. I enjoy supervising individuals who are also committed to the mission of the agency. I also enjoy working with agencies and individuals in the community. I appreciate the opportunities and encouragement to expand my professional interactions and knowledge.
Helping individuals in my community. Standing side by side with them while they take steps to better their lives.
